Focusing Outward

A dynamic young woman with a passion for helping women in difficult circumstances made this profound statement:
I AM GRATEFUL TO GOD NOT FOR WHAT I HAVE,
BUT FOR WHAT I AM ABLE TO GIVE TO OTHERS.
As women of Canada, we have been blessed with so much.  Many women in our world have so little.  Opportunities we have are not even so much as a dream for them. Women in Focus offers opportunity to the women of our churches to unite in their compassion by reaching out to disadvantaged women.

Part of our calling as an organization is to:
--To touch women with the love of Christ locally and globally
--To stand together as women in our common mission of bringing Christ to the world
--To bring awareness of community/social concerns and encourage proactive involvement

Here is where we are working . . .
Overseas, we have been working in conjunction with CBM to connect with the women of Africa helping them with financial aid as well as through our presence with them. See more . . .

In India we have been working in conjunction with CBM as well as with our sisters across Canada (Canadian Baptist Women) to help disadvantaged women in India. See more . . .

China: We have just helped to bring Pingping Ren to Canada from China, to further her education at Crandall University in Moncton (formerly Atlantic Baptist University).  Upon completion, Pingping will be able to return to China to be a greater influence.
