TUNI SCHOOL PROJECT

We are joining with our sisters across the country (Canadian Baptist Women) to help disadvantaged women in India, raising funds through our Great Canadian Bible Study.

Eva Rose York School in Tuni, India, is for young women, aged 16 - 25. At this school, the young women have opportunity to gain an education, Christian training and technical training in tailoring, painting and embroidery giving them opportunities in life they could never have otherwise, changing lives dramatically.

Much funding has already been raised to upgrade their campus and major, much needed renovations have already been accomplished. At present we are raising funds for a computer lab and renovations of the administration building. Teams of women continue to go to India to hold conferences to encourage our Indian sisters to stand behind the school with their encouragement and financial support as well, as many of the girls cannot afford the education. We are pleased to be able to be a part of this CBM project in India.
