Gifted and Called helped us to affirm that we are "gifted women called by God".

Gifted Called Empowered takes us to the next level of discerning god's will through intentional listening. Discerning God's will and call upon our lives requires a deep listening for His voice and sensitivity to His Spirit's leading.

Gifted Called Empowered offers direction in identifying the ways that God speaks into and through our lives and our experiences. Women in Focus invites you:

* to journey with us to our spiritual roots of reflection and silence before God and his written Work
* to experience classic Spiritual Disciplines
* to explore deeper into who we are as individuals made in the image of God through an exercise called S.H.A.P.E., culminating in writing a personal mission statement and a commissioning service.

The agenda looks something like this:

Friday evening - 7:15 - 9:15 Understanding our Call
Saturday morning - 9:00 - 12:00 Communicating with God
Bag lunch - 12:00 - 1:00
Saturday afternoon - 1:00 - 4:30 Knowing Yourself and finding your S.H.A.P.E.
Commissioning service - 4:30 - 5:00
The times are somewhat flexible and there are a few 15-minute breaks.

Each participant receives a manual. There are times spent alone and times in group activities with a little teachiing thrown in.

Cost: $40 per person

Gifted Called Empowered isn't about learning . . . it's also a time of spiritual retreat.
